Update on me : I forgot to write about this phone call I got on Thursday. I got this call on my cell that morning, woke me up. I didn't recognise the number, and I guess I sounded majorly groggy. This guy said he's from Celcom (my cell service provider) but I heard Psycom (or something that sounded like that). See, I've been getting calls from that "psy-com" or whatever company for a few weeks now. They're doing this survey on adult smokers, I've told them a million times I don't smoke. They'll say "Thank you" and another moron would call me again with the same question a few days later. So, you see, I was ready to bite his head off, for disturbing my sleep and everything *Heheh*
Anyway, when I thought it was them, I was a lil bit ticked. I was like "Oh man! How many times do u guys have to call me??" and the guy was like "Wait, wait". He then proceeded to tell me I've been selected to take advantage of this offer they're having. It's called a Special Payment Scheme, where, according to him, I only have to pay half of my current/outstanding amount and it'll be considered a full payment. Kinda like a 50% off deal. Okay, that definitely woke me up and he said I have to get it done in 5 days. I thought it was a gag, but he knows my phone's been barred, the amount of my last payment (over 1K *brrr*) and my current outstanding bills. The guy asked which branch I usually visit and told me to go there, ask for the Special Payment Counter and ask to see this Rozila chick.
I was gonna call Celcom and ask, but with my laziness and major procrastinating, I'm just gonna get cash and head over there Monday. If the thing's for real, it'll be majorly cool. Will save me a lot of dough.
In other news, here's what happened tonight. I was with Shakhira (yes, I do have other friends!), on our way to her apartment to get something. She picked me up at home at around 9.30 or something. Anyways, we were heading to the highway when the cars infront of us started hitting their brakes. Then we saw this blue car, swerving all over the place. I suspect the driver's drunk, or on something. The road breaks into 2 directions, on the right you go on the bridge and the left leads you to the highway. He was heading to the bridge when he suddenly swerved to the other lane, almost hitting another car. We were like, "What the heck?" and calling him an idiot and every other name under the sun.
We ended up behind him. Then, a few meters away there was this guy trying to get his wife and kid across the road. We could clearly see the guy put up his hand and, also, see that blue car braking. Suddenly he started accelarating, and swerved to the left. I thought he was trying to get around the guy (Why is beyond me). Then, all of a sudden he jammed his brakes, tires screeching, almost hitting the guy! What a moron, everyone saw the guy and stopped to let him pass. I can't get over how he hit his brakes the first time and then decided to floor it. Idiot.
Well, Shakhira thought it would be interesting to follow him. We did that, and watched him. Let me tell you this, the idiot was swerving left and right and braking. He'll start moving to the right, as if switching lanes.. and then he'll be swerving back. I told Shakhira not to get too close cuz the drunk bastard might make her wreck the car. If you could only see the way he was driving, hitting the brakes every minute or so, swerving here and there, cars blowing their horns at him... He should be locked up. I really hope he ran into the cops and got into a shitload of trouble.
We were behind him most of the way, then we had to take our exit and he went straight on. Yep, swerving and everything. He's too stupid, he could've hit that guy or the wife and kid.
